This is a period of a scratch-to-finish assembly of a Gateway model 400SD4 notebook computer. This series of notebooks has frequently been bad solder joints on the power connector. As a result, many users with machines that have not been vacated, or work with the AC adapter. Because it is directly on the motherboard, had to remove all parts including the motherboard for the power outlet. You will notice that this machine uses a lot of fans and heat sink copperthat makes the engine very strong - yet another "feature" of the notebook processor-based desktop (which uses a Prescott core Pentium 4 or similar). After re-solder the power jack, and then adds some structural adhesive, this machine worked properly. The rebuilding took about 20 minutes and at speeds of 30x in this film.
